TikTok @slimerantbackgrounds If I'm being so honest, Duolingo sucks and I'm saying this as somebody who deleted and reinstalled the app three times and had a 500 day streak at some point and didn't learn anything like I'm learning Greek right now. and I've learned how to say Νανα το καρότο, which means "Nana the carrot" in the first lesson before I even learn how to say "Hello my name is." And the funny part is I actually haven't even learned that yet and this might just be a simple guess but I'm guessing that if somebody speaks their native language very well then I'm guessing that they speak it probably very fast yeah Duolingo doesn't go fast and don't even start about the streaks it feels like the purpose of Duolingo has completely changed from actually learning a new language just keeping up a streak like just because I spent 752 days on your app* doesn't instantly make me good at the language I'm learning. "Oh Daize, it can't be that bad, you just chose a hard language to learn." I literally Learned Spanish and Latin and they're no different so to sum it up, I'd be pretty surprised if you became fluent in a language because of Duolingo that's it, Daize out!
