An old 2023 leak has resurfaced this week claiming LA Noire 2 will be Rockstar's next game after GTA 6, and it is getting attention because the same source correctly predicted several GTA 6 details that have since been confirmed. According to the GTAForums user Shahanshah, LA Noire 2 will move the setting from 1940s Los Angeles to San Francisco, with the story centred on the infamous and unsolved Zodiac Killer case. The leaker also claims Rockstar is targeting a 2030 release window and is aiming to push facial scanning technology further than any game has gone before - describing a goal of making it the best looking game ever made. What lends the leak credibility is the source's track record as they correctly called GTA 6's relationship system, criminal profiling mechanics, and the fact the game originally had four playable protagonists, the last of which was only confirmed by Rockstar North co-head Rob Nelson a few weeks ago. The original LA Noire was developed by Team Bondi in 2011 and Rockstar has since acquired the old team, now operating as Rockstar Australia. Nothing is confirmed and Rockstar has not commented. #lanoire #rockstargames #gta6 #gamingnews
