Sculptor Diego Cabezas creates minimalist sculptures from hand-bent iron rods, transforming simple continuous lines into faces, bodies, flowers and human silhouettes. Instead of building solid volumes, Cabezas uses empty space as part of the sculpture. A few carefully curved lines are enough for our eyes to recognize an entire figure. Some of his works also introduce movement and balance. In this piece, a flower grows from the outline of a human head, while the lightweight structure gently moves with its surroundings. Seen against the landscape, the sculpture almost becomes a drawing floating in three-dimensional space. #art #artist #niche #design #sea
