The Book of Lashes by Lily Rose
Why it worked
The video uses a simple, satisfying unboxing format to highlight a budget-friendly beauty find, which appeals directly to the creator's audience interested in deals and dupes.
Summary
The video showcases a product called 'The Book of Lashes' by Lily Rose, which is an eyelash set found at the store Action. The creator opens the packaging to reveal the various styles of lashes and the included glue.
Structure
- 1Close-up of the product packaging
- 2Opening the box to show contents
- 3Displaying the variety of lash styles
Product placement
The Book of Lashes by Lily Rose (a) ACTS: the product is unboxed, the packaging is opened, and the contents (multiple pairs of lashes and glue) are displayed to the viewer. Removing this would leave the video with no subject. Action (a) APPEARS: the store logo appears as a watermark throughout the video. Removing this would not change the video's focus on the product.
