Push day vs pull day 💪 Once you understand the difference, building an upper-body routine gets way less confusing. A push day is built around movements where you’re pressing weight away from your body. Think chest, shoulders and triceps: dumbbell or bench presses, overhead presses, incline presses, tricep pushdowns, dips and lateral raises. A pull day is the opposite — you’re pulling resistance toward your body. That usually means more back, biceps and rear-delt work: pull-ups, rows, lat pulldowns, curls, face pulls and rear-delt flys. Neither one is “better.” They simply organize your training in a way that lets related muscle groups work together while giving other areas time to recover. For most people, the important part is keeping both sides of the upper body in the program instead of only training the muscles you can see in the mirror. 😅 Focus on controlled reps, good technique and gradually increasing the challenge over time. You don’t need a complicated routine — you need one you can actually repeat consistently. Save this for the next time you’re standing in the gym wondering what you’re supposed to train. 🤍 📲 Workit App can build workouts around your goals, experience level and schedule, help you track your progress, and keep your training organized so you always know what to do next. #PushDay #PullDay #GymGirl #WorkoutRoutine #WorkitApp
