Los Angeles jury finds nurse guilty of deadly Windsor Hills crash. Jurors deliberated for just three hours before finding Nicole Linton guilty of six counts of second-degree murder in the deadly 2022 crash. Security video shows Linton's Mercedes speeding down La Brea and running a red light at the intersection of Slauson Avenue. Prosecutors say she was going about 130 miles an hour before slamming into several cars and triggering a massive fire. Six people were killed in all, including a 23-year-old pregnant woman and her unborn baby. Her 11-month-old son, her boyfriend, and two other women were also killed. Now in court, Linton's attorney said she had a seizure and couldn't stop the car. Prosecutors said there was no evidence of that and argued Linton was upset at work and driving angrily. For the victims' families, today's verdict brings some relief, but the pain is still there. Her actions were horrific in the nature and given her her violent history, this was not something new. This was something that could have been prevented. Um, she didn't have never took actions for her her health, her mental health, and what she did is she was triggered by anger and she barreled into that into that intersection murdering all our families. So we are so grateful for today that we received justice and that she will be held accountable for her actions.
