This is your quote. We all have a timeline. Do you still believe in that? We all, living like we all have a timeline, Steve. Wow. Yes. I think that is one of the most beautiful truths we have. We all have a timeline. Most of us just pretend we do not. A diagnosis makes the clock visible. That can mess with your head. It can also wake you up. I live on a ventilator. I type with my eyes. Those days I used to treat as endless are gone. What I have left is this. I can still love. I can still be present. So I do not live as if tomorrow I might lose those things. I already did. I live knowing this breath is given to me by a machine, and this sentence is built letter by letter, and this moment with those I love is the whole point. The timeline is not a threat only. It is an invitation to be here, right now, even on the fragile precipice. Even when the body is still and the voice is gone, presence is enough. I live from that place.
