1978 called. It would like its air conditioner back. 😭😂 Except this thing apparently has NO intention of leaving. Brad is looking at an original AC unit from 1978 that is STILL actively cooling the house. And the air coming out? About **56 degrees.** 👀 Brad: “That thing is still WORKING?!” Yep. Nearly five decades later. Now before everybody starts demanding their AC last half a century too… There’s an important difference here: This unit is in a DRY climate. Arizona conditions can be much kinder to equipment than Florida’s relentless humidity and moisture. Brad jokes that in Florida? This thing probably would’ve tapped out a LONG time ago. 😂 Still, there’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing old equipment just keep doing its job year after year. At this point, replacing it might hurt its feelings. 😭👏 For HVAC upgrades, remodeling, renovations, additions, and whole-home construction throughout Tampa, Clearwater, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, and Tampa Bay, follow Home Love Construction for more GC REACTS, construction education, and old-school equipment that somehow just keeps going.Original footage by: @kaspyhvac Original source: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DaJjLzVP55e/ Licensed under: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Changes made: Excerpts from the original video were edited, paused and/or shortened and incorporated into this reaction/commentary video.
