Brad looking at a normal interior wall: “You know there’s technically EMPTY SPACE in there, right?” 👀😂 Interior walls aren’t always just drywall and studs. Sometimes that cavity can become actual STORAGE. In this setup, the space between the studs is opened up and turned into a shallow built-in cabinet. Then a custom cabinet door goes over the front so once everything is finished? It looks intentional instead of: “Somebody cut a hole in the wall.” 😭😂 The back of the storage area can be reinforced with wood, sitting directly in front of the drywall on the opposite side of the wall. So you’re basically borrowing otherwise unused space from INSIDE the wall without taking up additional floor space. 👏 Brad: “This is one of those little design tricks that makes you wonder why we don’t use wall cavities more often.” Extra storage. No bulky cabinet sticking into the room. And when the door is closed? You barely know it’s there. For custom storage, built-in cabinetry, interior remodeling, renovations, additions, and whole-home projects throughout Tampa, Clearwater, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, and Tampa Bay, Home Love Construction knows some of the best storage space in your house might already be hiding inside the walls. #Storage #homesweethome #homedesign #tampa
