There are two ways to insulate around furring strips. One way is: Install the wood. Measure every little opening. Cut insulation strips. Trim them again. Glue them in. Question your life choices. 😭😂 Brad prefers option two: **Put the insulation on the ENTIRE block wall first.** 👏 Then run your furring strips right over the top and fasten through the insulation into the block. Simple. Fast. Continuous. And WAY cleaner. 👀 That uninterrupted insulation layer gives you better overall coverage instead of breaking the wall into dozens of individual little sections. It also helps every trade that comes afterward. The electrician isn’t digging through random pieces trying to drop wiring. The plumber has fewer obstacles. And the framer spends less time cutting materials that never needed to be cut in the first place. Brad: “Good construction planning is basically asking: How do I make this easier for EVERYBODY after me?” 😂 For block-wall insulation, furring strips, framing, renovations, additions, and whole-home projects throughout Tampa, Clearwater, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, and Tampa Bay, Home Love Construction knows doing things in the right sequence can save a surprising amount of time and labor. #newhome #buildingmaterials #tools #construction
