UPDATE: Christa Pike remains in critical condition days after Tennessee’s failed lethal injection. Her attorneys say she remains unconscious and on a ventilator at a Nashville-area hospital, and doctors have not yet said whether she will regain consciousness or recover. Pike received two doses of pentobarbital during the September 30 execution attempt but survived. Tennessee has since halted all executions for the remainder of 2026 and launched an independent investigation into what went wrong. #tennessee #christapike #fyp
