So what actually started the Viking invasions was really just a counterfeiting incident that happened. So in northern like England basically, there was a group of monks, monasteries, and they were literally just like shaving coins, meaning they were like making the weight reduced on the coins. They were handing the they would hand like bags of coins, a bunch of coins to the Vikings for trading. And then what ended up happening was when they would find out that the coins weren't matching weight, then the retaliation was coming back and essentially, you know, getting even.
