The Arcane brush. How to Arcane-ify any painting. If you look closely, no surface in Arcane is a simple flat color. It's all made up of these micro variations in hue and saturation and value and we can do exactly that with a brush setting. If we go to Color Dynamics and set a few jitters around 5%, it makes it so that every repeated brushstroke will have a slightly different color which and it looks like two things at once. It looks like subtle variations in that patch of clothing or shingles on a roof or plaster on a wall, but it also looks like brushstrokes. It looks like we're working from a dirty pallet where we couldn't quite mix the same color twice and that's where that instant painterly charm and vibrance comes from in Arcane. No dead colors, everything vibrates. It's this really powerful subconscious effect and it's just messy fun at the end of a painting, so don't overlook this brush setting, it's awesome.
