The USS Abraham Lincoln has officially arrived in San Diego after a 321-day deployment, including 265-days straight at sea amid the ongoing conflict in Iran. US Navy Soldiers reported deteriorating conditions on board, including broken plumbing, lack of food and resources, and issues with the ship's water systems. Concerns were growing among families and politicians who received word that soldiers were struggling with mental health, with multiple reported suicide attempts. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth traveled to San Diego Wednesday to give the crew the Presidential Unit Citation, the highest honor a unit can receive. #USSLincoln #USNavy #Soldiers #Return Credits: Mario Tama/Getty Images, Reuters
