Frustrated Umbilo residents took matters into their own hands, targeting residential properties allegedly housing illegal drug dens and brothels. Product placement

IOL News App — it provides news updates; it ACTS as the destination for the CTA at the end of the video. Removing it would change the video's purpose from a news report to a promotional ad for the app. Baso's Fish Tanks — it merely APPEARS as a sign in the background of the protest scene. Removing it would not change the video.

Yeah guys, this is currently now. In this back alley, there's a lot of foreigners that stay, so they've gone around on Umbilo Road and there looks like they set a house. I'm not sure what is on fire, I'm not going to go there, and there you can see it's quite full up. I'm on Clark Road in Umbilo on Friday afternoon where protesters have set alight a motorbike. You're with me now is Vaughn Reed from the CPF, Umbilo CPF. We've just been obviously called out to try and come and assist as best as possible, but yeah, there's a lot of groups running around here trying to get all the foreigners, especially the youth, because there's a lot of youth residents in this area. So they've been stoning cars, they've been stoning windows, but they seem to have made their way back into into Wero. So it's a bit volatile, but yeah, seems to be getting under control.
