Hey y'all, welcome to my Thai tea tutorial for everyone who has been asking. Um, first I wanna say thank you so much for all the love on my video and let's get started. So, first this is the Thai tea brand that I use. I don't really know which one it is. My mom got it. It's called Pantai. I'm pretty sure you can get this on Amazon. I'm pretty sure my mom went to the Asian store. Smells so good. Okay. So a little backstory, like fun fact, I used to work at a boba shop for like a year. So this is the little recipe. Disclaimer, this is my own recipe that I make. But when I would make it for customers, it was different. But I can explain that. So essentially, you first start with loose Thai tea leaves. Okay. And then you need any container. I'm gonna use a glass container with a lid. Um, at my job, I would use normal plastic cup and then we just saran wrap it. Just because Thai tea wasn't very popular, I guess. Um, I'm gonna use around two tablespoons. It's a little bit fuller with tablespoon. Um, and then you're gonna need 600 milliliters of water. Hold on. Basically the ratio I learned is two tablespoons to 600 milliliters of water. And then you're just gonna boil the water. And then I'm just gonna boil it until it's ready. We just pour the water in, and you're just gonna let the tea steep for like I said, minimum of an hour before you use it. And before I use it, I'm just gonna let it sit overnight just so that the flavor is stronger and then I'll take out the leaves tomorrow morning. And you just close it up and then wait. Show you tomorrow morning when the tea is ready. So it's the next day. I let the tea kinda just sit overnight, and then I put it in the fridge this morning. And now I'm just gonna strain out all the loose leaves. I just throw the rest of the leaves away. This is all the tea that I just poured. And then normally I just put it into any, like bottle container. I still have a little bit left in here so I'm gonna use that first. And then here is where I keep, the cream I use. Um, so what I did is I just used 300 milliliters of milk with four tablespoons of condensed milk. I think I actually even did, I did three condensed milk one honey, but it's really up to you whatever you wanna do. Normally I just kind of just guess. I just guess how much I use. But in an actual boba shop when I worked there, the ratio would be, they would use 300 milliliters of tea, two scoops of Thai tea powder. And I'll show the one. This is the one that they use. You can screenshot it. That's the one that my tea shop used, and it tasted like really good Thai tea, honestly. They would add sugar on the machine. It was like raw cane sugar on the machine. There was a button. It was 25. I don't know if it was 25 milliliters of sugar but I think that's what it was. So then the 25 milliliters of sugar and then it would be 75 milliliters of the mixed half and half condensed milk. Um, and we just make it in like a bigger batch and so we can just pour it. And that's about it. But with me I just, I just use regular milk. No half and half. Just regular milk. But you can do half and half. I think it makes it creamier. Not sure, but I know that the Thai tea powder definitely makes it have a stronger Thai tea flavor, sugar and creamier, I think. But then for me, I just, I don't even measure when I do it at home, but I just have my glass filled with ice, tea and then whatever milk I have. So let me do that now so I can show you guys. I'm gonna do ice first. And whenever I do, I still have like a little bit of like the smaller Thai tea leaves but honestly it's fine. Okay. Here is what I have so far. I'm gonna wash this and then pour in the other Thai tea. I honestly, I just rinsed it out because it's okay. I'm just gonna pour this one in here. It fits, like pretty perfectly. This is 600 milliliters of the brewed tea. And it fits. I mean, I don't know how big this is, but. And I'll fill it to like right there. Just take whatever cause right now I still have some that I made. So I'm not gonna make any new one, but just take it, mix it around, cause like overnight, the sugar will go to the bottom so just mix it. And I just pour, I don't know, a good amount until it fills the top maybe, like. I don't know if you saw, but it's so beautiful. Oh my god, wow. I just taste test it. Like that's so good. You really don't need that much. But I like, I prefer my Thai tea to not be as sweet. I don't add any extra sugar to my actual tea part. But this is my tutorial. I hope you enjoyed. Have fun drinking your Thai tea. Mmm. Mmm. This is the condensed milk I use. You can use any and milk. I just used this. That's all I use and I did like a splash of heavy cream, but you really don't have to do that. That's, that's my recipe. I hope you enjoyed.
