Artist Franz Ferdinand Münzing explores how heat and gravity can transform precisely cut sheets of glass into organic sculptural objects. In this series of kiln-formed glass vases, flat glass pieces are arranged into carefully designed geometric compositions before being placed in a kiln. As the temperature rises, the glass softens and gradually bends under its own weight.
