People often ask me why my wife and I fly business or first class, while our kids fly economy with their nanny. The reason is simple. We want to teach our children that if they want to fly business or first class, they have to earn it. I don’t believe in handing my kids luxuries they haven’t worked for. I want them to grow up with the same drive, ambition and determination to succeed that my wife and I have had. Just because we’ve worked hard to enjoy these luxuries doesn’t mean our children should automatically be entitled to them. Plus, in my opinion, business class isn’t really the place for loud children. It’s somewhere people pay extra to relax, get some sleep or get work done in peace. I love my kids, and I want to give them the best possible start in life. But I also want them to understand the value of hard work and earning their own success. Let me know what you guys think. Would you do the same with your kids?
