welcome to another day in my life in Paris. it's just like Emily in Paris except for the insufferable main character is me. just a regular 9 fingered narcoleptic American in Paris with executive dysfunction. the heatless curl reveal is a crapshoot every morning. but as someone who sleeps like they're going to war, I know that this is about as good as it gets. and she's not mad about it baby. I had a bit of a faux pas with the tinted sunscreen. but as the French say Bahhh ouais euhh c'est la vie. I had people expressing concern over the dark circles under my eyes. so this one's for you. Eyebag police babes. I sleep like 15 hours a day. it is what it is. out the door by one and we're ready to rock. first we go down the stairs. then we go up the stairs. today I'm treating myself to Hardware Societe. since I'm moving in a month and 1/2 and I might as well enjoy the treats of my neighborhood. like all the best brunch spots in Paris. this one is stuffed with Americans. I was skeptical about paying €18 for scrambled eggs. but look at this monster. this is freaking beautiful. I'm in love with this lady reapplying her lip gloss. so naturally I have to sketch her. I'm insecure about sharing my art in this app because I am just an amateur. but you guys were so encouraging last time. so here's another. This is me taking a work call that I was supposed to be back in my apartment for. but I've got total time blindness. so we're doing it at the foot of the Sacré Cœur. casually making all my American coworkers question their life decisions. next stop Confortuma. last time we went to Normal, which is a very good kind of dollar store. but this. this is where you get everything else. it's like a post apocalyptic Target. there is nothing you can't find here. although the quality is very bad. I was tempted by these scoubidous. this extendable frog. and of course. race in bag game. but settled on this cheap metal wire for my newest craft obsession. which is sea glass. okay we're back in my apartment. I'm in the process of moving to a beach town on the Riviera. which is just choked in this stuff. and I have this vision of myself making sea glass jewelry. so I'm trying to figure out how to do that with 0 jewelry making experience. and I got this little drill. so I can drill holes in them and make little beads. and stick them on earrings and stuff. I don't know. I haven't really thought the plan through. but I also know this will be my new life's purpose. and then this cute little pigeon landed on my windowsill. so I decided to sit out on the balcony. cause it's finally warm enough to do that and just enjoy Paris a little bit. I've been living here for a year and 1/2. I can't believe it's coming to an end. I'm super excited about the next chapter. but boy am I gonna miss this view. except for the stupid crane that they just put up last week. that is totally ruining the vibe.
