Three things I wish I knew before I started my call center. What's up, I'm Sarah, the virtual call center owner of Gen X Consumer Solutions, and I'm here to tell you three things that I wish I knew about my call center before I opened it. Let's get it. Now let's get into the first thing that I wish I knew about CRM systems, which was HubSpot. I wish I literally knew about HubSpot before I started my business. It's one of the best CRM systems out there. It has the most user-friendly interface and it's free. You can use a lot of features up here for $0.99. The second thing that I wish I knew about before I started my virtual call center was good contractor payments and payroll services. I recommend using a payroll service that has a very cheap and affordable flat rate that offers free contractors and a reasonable additional price per contractor. These companies out there are literally asking you to rob Peter literally just to pay Paul. Like this is not exaggeration. I wish I knew that it cost money to pay people and that when it comes to payroll systems you need to be vetting. Last but not least, the third thing that I wish that I knew before I started my call center was literally Google Sites. I wish that I knew that this was a free application that you could either host your onboarding on or you could literally have a free website literally on Google. It gives you a free domain and everything. Literally this would have saved me about $200 when I first started my company. I paid for a Squarespace subscription. I hope that I told you something new today, and if I taught you anything or if I showed you something, please like and follow. Also hit that link in my bio for business owner tips, work from home jobs, and all things you need to know about owning a virtual call center. Bye-bye.
