My ONLY Account

TikTok has a massive problem. Every day I get probably 5 to 10 messages of people telling me that an impersonator account has been messaging them. If you just look up Baxate_Carter, my username on TikTok, and go to users, this is what you'll see. There are literally hundreds of these accounts and some of them have tens of thousands of followers. Now, note, these are not real followers. What happens is these scammers will buy accounts with a lot of followers and then start reposting other users' content. They will then start messaging and following people telling them they have some kind of financial opportunity for them. Please do not fall for these scams. I hate to break it to you, but 99.9% of the time, a big creator will never message you directly. And even if they do, please go check out the account and make sure they are not fake. You can do this by looking at the videos posted on that account and see how many views and likes they have. This is my ONLY account on TikTok and I will never, ever message you about some crypto scam. This is a problem for every big creator, but I think it's especially bad for people who are seen as reputable. I've tried to get verified on TikTok a couple of times and they've denied me a couple of times now, that's one way that you can try and solve this. But unfortunately, right now, there's not much I can do. I always report and block these accounts, but to date, none of those reports has actually gone through. Please be careful out there.
