Shukette is just one of those New York City staple restaurants I'm gonna tell you guys if it's actually worth the hype starting off with their iconic Frena Pita and their hummus okay not gonna lie this first bite was magical it's the fluffiest piece of pita bread and perfectly seasoned the bar was set really high as you can see then we got a round of drinks I always appreciate a restaurant that has a mocktail menu and these drinks were a 10 out of 10 we got a salad and some fries and the fries were just meant to be a filler but they were actually a fave of the night the butter beans were personally a little bit underwhelming I don't think I'd get them again the sweet potato dish was such a unique and interesting flavor so refreshing I definitely ordered this if you go we also ordered their lamb skewer and a side of rice this singular skewer was $34 Shukette is tapas style but they definitely are on the smaller side you can definitely find equally if not better Mediterranean food somewhere in the city for much cheaper I'll give them a solid 7.8 out of 10 7.8/10
