I've been a family nurse practitioner for seven years, but I have 17 years experience in the field of nursing. What type of education background do you have? Tell us. So I own my own virtual weight loss clinic and then I also contract with other big telemedicine companies and I am a 1099 contractor, so I help provide care to their patients on their platform. Now, what made you want to start your own practice instead of just working as a staff hospital? Tell us. I work from home, so it's very convenient. I can travel the world. I can spend time with my family. So I really love that. Was it hard starting out? How was the challenges? How did you overcome them? Um, for me, what I did, I used my expertise and knowledge that I learned in school and I started with 1099 contracting and I used that information from those companies to start growing skill my own practice. Now, any advice you want to give to someone that wants to do what you do? Tell us. So if you're RN, I would definitely recommend that you continue your education and get your master's or doctoral degree. And then from there, you use your knowledge that you learn from those companies to start growing skill your own practice.
