So a couple of weeks ago we hosted some crackheads in our Airbnb. We only know they were crackheads because we found the spoon, we found the drugs, we found the syringes. Um, so this is what our cleaner saw when she walked into the property. They had stolen every TV including the mounts. Um, they uninstalled all the appliances. They stole the over the range microwave along with the mount for it again. They uninstalled the dishwasher, the fridge. We can only think that to steal all the other appliances, they just couldn't the door. Um, cleaner pointing out all the smoke damage that they've done. They smoked inside the property again, trashed the place. Um, I don't know if you noticed in the living, a medicine cabinet that's supposed to be, uh, in the bathroom that they had uninstalled. Second, you're gonna see right here, they put out some cigarettes on the steps. They got into our cleaner's closet, a locked closet that has a bunch of supplies and took things out. Here's one of the bedrooms where they put out, um, cigarettes in our bowls and things, dishware again. Stole a TV off the wall there. Um, surprisingly all the linens were folded nicely on top of the toilet, of them. Um, so it just became a very inconvenient thing because we actually had guests checking in that same day. And so we reached out to, we reached out to multiple cleaners. They came over, reinstalled everything, place ready, which is a huge testament to our team that we were able to get a guest in. Cabinet I was talking about that was uninstalled. And typically, we've had great experiences with Airbnb, of damage like this. This is by far the worst host guest that we've hosted. And over 1,000 guests that we've hosted. And, um, I will say this time Airbnb has been dragging their feet for multiple police reports, which we provided, saying that they're not good enough. All the invoices. So it cost us about $3,000 to get this place ready for a guest that same day at 4:00. And currently Airbnb is only offering us about half of that. We are hopeful that we can get this issue resolved. Parties can be, cause as of right now, we're not very happy that we hosted that guest. And, uh, that guest actually has multiple issues with other Airbnbs in the same area at the same time. So we, to why, um, Airbnb's dragging their feet. At the same time, we're just trying to go through the process, figure out exactly what we need to do to get reimbursed for this and go back to being happy host that, um, give guest great experiences.
