Guests left refrigerator like this at our airbnb. We just had 10 guests check out after spending the last four nights at our Airbnb and I walk in to find the refrigerator like this. They literally broke in multiple places. This tray and this one's broken too. And then this one down here is missing the entire front of it. One thing I've learned as a host is that things will get broken sometimes. It's accidental, sometimes it's intentional. I've got to get this fixed right away because I have guests coming in. This is why I'm a big fan of a company called Waivo. Waivo is guest damage protection and it's designed specifically for short-term rentals. All that they ask for is a couple photos of the damage and any receipts if I have them. And I'm guaranteed to hear back within just two days. Not to be said with you guys, this is just a skit. But in five years of hosting, I've had four separate times where a refrigerator drawer has been broken by a guest. One time they actually broke the shelf. But regardless of what happens, you need to replace damaged items quickly. And paying for everything out of your own pocket is not the solution. I'm just curious what you guys think. If you walked into an Airbnb after a group stayed there and they had broken a refrigerator shelf or drawer or whatever, what would you do?
