Hook

Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I've been doing at-home bikini waxes for about five years now, and I've never had an ingrown hair, I have no hyperpigmentation, so I'm going to teach you my routine so that you can save some money this summer. So about an hour before I plan on waxing, I'll hop in the shower and I'll use one of these little Korean exfoliating mitts to thoroughly exfoliate that area and make sure everything is nice and smooth. And this is my secret weapon. About 30 minutes before I plan on waxing, I will thoroughly coat Miss Ma'am in the Dermoplast. So this is a numbing spray, so it significantly cuts down on the pain. And then I'll let it sit for about half an hour, and I'll take a washcloth with some soapy warm water and just wipe it all off. And now that we're done prepping the skin, I'll add a little dusting of baby powder just to help protect the skin, and it makes it a little bit easier to yank off. And now onto the wax. This little pot, I want to say I got this on Amazon a few years ago. I really like it because this one is digital, so you can control the temperature a little bit better. So we'll just use my arm as an example. So when you apply the wax, you want to go down in the direction of the hair, you want to let it dry a little bit, and then when you go to pull the wax off, you want to go in the same direction. And for aftercare, I absolutely love the CeraVe Healing Ointment. I slather it on, then I put on a big pair of underwear, and I let it sit for the rest of the night.
