You do not have to travel to Europe or even California to enjoy a day on the vineyard. North Carolina actually has some really nice vineyards. This one is only a little over an hour from Charlotte. I visited Dynamis, a fairly new vineyard in the Carolinas. The guided bus and walking tour around the vineyard and estates is a nice touch. Setting is beautiful. You can walk through their vineyards, have several glasses of wine, pair wines with a charcuterie board or try other items off of their menu. Dynamis Estate is a great vineyard to escape the city for the day. I also recommend checking their website for upcoming events.
