The reason we're in week five and we still don't see any couples this season like we did in last season is because everybody on this season is completely non-confrontational. Completely non-confrontational. Except for Amaya. Amaya is the only confrontational person there. She does not mind addressing problems, asking uncomfortable questions. She doesn't mind doing any of that. The rest of them though, they are all afraid of what reactions they're going to get from one another and so rather than saying anything, they say nothing at all. They say nothing at all and then they find themselves in situations exactly like last night with a bunch of unsure relationships and a bunch of un-serious shit going on. It's just it's just absolutely insane at this point because when you think about it and you think about last season, the reason Miguel and Leah, Serena and Cordell, Jana and Kenny are still together and the reason all of their friendships are honestly still so strong is because the entire time they were there, they confronted one another over and over and over about everything. There was not really much that happened in season six that didn't have a discussion, whether it was a big discussion, a good discussion, a bad discussion, really didn't matter. It was always brought to the forefront at some point though. So it's just like it's really hard to sit up and watch people continue to be so like safe and fake, honestly. It really just reminds me of a lot of my dating experiences. I feel like a lot of times healthy communication is like labeled under that category of being confrontational and when people hear the word confrontational, they're automatically like, oh no, that's trouble, like that just it doesn't sound good. But literally in order to have a long healthy relationship, in most cases you have to be confrontational. You just do. Like that passive is like I don't know, that passive shit's not going to get you anywhere ever. What are we even talking about?
