This is what nobody tells you about being a life insurance agent. First one, it's not a get rich fast, it's more like a get rich slow. Like, unless you're just coming in here and you're just freaking crazy good, unlike myself, but I don't know. Like, it's simple what we do, but it's hard work. Like, you actually got to put the activity in. That's number one. Second, if you're not working, you're not making no money. Like, literally it's commission based. If you're not working, cut the check, cut the show, you're done. Three, the top producers are getting told no way more than yes. That's really anybody in general, but like the people that are making like freaking 100k monthly by themselves on their own pen, you know how many no's they have to go through to get to yes? I'm thinking something's wrong with me whole time. You just really have to get through all the no's to get to the yes's. So you have to have like a different mentality. Like, okay, just get through the no's to get to the yes's. Everybody's not going to want it, you just got to find the ones that do. Four, you cannot be stingy when it comes to spending money on leads. Now, everybody don't buy leads, I buy leads, because mind you, I don't want to be asking my friends and family, hey, do you want insurance? No, no, no, no. Immediately no. Let me just go ahead and buy the lead, the person that already freaking inquired about it, and then I'll talk to them. So, you like you really can't expect to make a certain amount if you're not spending a certain amount. So, like the top producers, the ones that are making dummy money, they're spending a good amount on leads. Not saying the ROI, return on investment, isn't big or profitable for them, but it's just you can't expect somebody that's spending $100 weekly on leads to make the same amount that somebody's that's spending like a thousand weekly on leads. So, the more you put in, the more you're going to get out, the bigger return on investment. And yeah. Five, you cannot be too nice on this phone. Not saying you can't be respectful and sweet and all that, but you cannot be too nice, because these people will walk all over you. And if you want that money at the end of the day and you want to help these families, you got to be stern and put your foot down, because that was my problem. I was too dang on nice, like way too nice. It was bad. It was really bad. So, you cannot be too nice. You have to actually be stern, put your foot down, be assertive, assume the sale. Lastly, you're never going to be ready to start. Like, you're going to be super nervous on your first appointment or your first dial, your first whatever. You're never going to be ready, I'm telling you. Like, you just have to do it. Like, you just have to do it. That's the only way. It sucks, but like you're just going to have to do it. Like, literally, if you go watch like my first video, like my first video I ever posted, I just started out and I was freaking nervous, I'm freaking fidgeting. You're never going to be ready, but the more that you practice, the more you do it, the better you're going to be. So, you got this.
