I just wanted to quickly talk about the Apple Developer Program and how much of a nightmare it is to get an organization account or get a company listed with the Apple Developer Program I'm currently in the process of upgrading my individual Apple Developer account into an Organization Developer account uh mainly so I can get my dev added and uh so I can avoid having my first and last name listed on the app and what should have been a very straightforward process given that I made a new company for this a couple of months ago and haven't done anything with this company and it should just be ready and smooth and ready to go um has been a very difficult process because because there's a few things that they don't tell you the main thing is that they tell you you need a Duns number but they don't tell you that you need to have a phone number added to your Duns&Bradstreet account now the issue is when you make a company typically Duns&Bradstreet will auto scan registrations and will actually make a Duns number for you they'll auto register it for you and then when you come in and actually claim it they don't ask you for your phone number they don't ask you for any updated information so when you go and submit the request on apple it looks like everything's good to go but it's not and you'll have to then wait and get a message back from apple explaining that you need to add your phone number to Duns when you go to their website there is no clear easy way to add a phone number to the company and I had to actually call them get in touch with support and have them send me a special link specifically for people going through the Apple Developer Program process and now that I've submitted my phone number I need to wait up to 7 days for that to be updated and then another 2 days for that to reflect on apple side of things so if you want to save some time transitioning to we're creating an account with a company for the Apple Developer Program make sure that you have a good Duns number and make sure that your Duns and Bradstreet account is up to date with your name your phone number etc it'll save you a lot of time in this process I'm still not approved we're still not done so hopefully this is it but I'll keep you guys posted if there's any other blockers other than that the app is almost ready to go but now it just depends on apple more than anything anyway that's it for today see you tomorrow
