Day 18. I'm building my own apps without being a professional developer. But I found out pretty quickly that using an AI coding assistant like Cursor on its own can be a disaster. Cursor is amazing. It's like VS Code but with AI built in and it can write code for you instantly. But it has a huge problem. It loses context. It forgets what it's done, it redos work, and it gets lost. That's why my stack has two parts. Cursor is the hands, but this is the brain: Taskmaster. Using Taskmaster, you can work with an AI to create a source of truth, a complete plan for the entire project. It breaks down every single task and understands all the dependencies. Then, Taskmaster keeps Cursor on track, guiding it through the plan so it never gets lost. For a beginner like me, this is a total game changer.
