Two weeks ago I launched my very first iPhone app and everyone kept asking for one thing, a barcode scanner. So let's build it together. MacroMacros is a new kind of calorie tracker. You just speak what you eat and AI logs it for you. No typing, searching, manually logging, just talk. The vision is to keep it super minimalist. So, we're just going to add a small plus button in the liquid glass input bar. Tap it, and a new panel appears. You can attach recipes or now, barcodes. Once you scan the item, it shows up as a small chip above the input bar. Then just say I had half a serving. AI handles unit conversions, calories, and protein. Hit log food and it updates instantly. This is how calorie tracking should feel in 2025.
