You know, having boyfriend really is embarrassing, because that woman who's boyfriend packed her dog food for lunch this time last year, reminded me of this time last year where my boyfriend I used to love to go camping. And the first camping together, I planned everything. I picked where we were going camping, I picked the hikes. I'm the one who owned the car, my car, I paid for gas and I planned and organized all the food. Not great. So the second time I said, hey boyfriend, can you plan the meals for us? And he said, yes, enthusiastically, yes. Great. So the night before we went camping, I went over to his house to pick up all of his stuff, his camping gear and the food. Because the plan was, I was going to pick him up from work the next day, straight to camping. So I didn't want him to schlep all that over the night before and picked it all up. At the top of the food bag were Healthy Choice Steamer Meals. And I said, hey boyfriend, are these dinners for tomorrow? And he said, yeah. And I was so how do you going to cook these? And he was just like, take everything out, you know, put and kind of saute it. And I was like, yeah, I, I don't think rice is going to, like, steam. I think it needs to be steamed. I don't think it'll cook correctly that way. And then it dawned upon him that, like, microwavable steamer meals would not be for camping. He was distraught. He was upset with himself for being incompetent with the meal planning, which is great. But that means then I had to go plan the meals because he had to work the night, day. And I was picking him up, camping right after. Right. And I'm a freelancer, so like, my days are a lot more flexible. So then I had to go buy us new meals for dinner. And the other stuff that he packed, he also packed us raw almonds as a snack and unsalted cashews. Those were our snacks. And the peanut butter was expired. And then peanut butter and jelly for lunch. Nothing wrong with peanut butter and jelly, but it just, you know what? Having a boyfriend actually really is embarrassing.
