Let me tell you how my lease BMW paid for itself. When I first got this car, I was on a contract that was really close to the hospital that I was working at. So I was barely allowed to use any mileage. So for my next contract, I picked one that was about an hour away, 50 miles each way, mileage reimbursement. As a locum, you get paid per mile and the mileage reimbursement literally covered my entire lease payment. I tell people all the time, locums isn't just about base pay. The perks matter, the mileage, the housing, the flexibility, all of it. And my lease is coming due. What should I get next y'all? I'm buying this time.
