I make about $40,000 per month as a CRNA and here is how I structure my income so I won't have to work forever. So this isn't a traditional budget, it's an allocation system that I created myself and once I plug my income in, everything gets allocated by category. Starting with my moat, aka my high-yield savings, it's fully funded so this month I'm funding zero. My taxes, because I'm 1099 I have to self-fund, so that's my total for this month. The only debt that I'm carrying right now are my student loans. The lifestyle and joy bucket covers my day-to-day, housing, transportation, food, self-care, fitness, travel and enjoying life. I'm really intentional here but I try to keep my fixed costs low. I still invest in public markets but that's not where the most growth happens for me and I make sure that I max out my solo 401k in my retirement lockbox. So real estate is where I get into my alternative investments and this is my favorite bucket. I love passive real estate, you'll just see your wealth accelerate here and also in the sandbox. This is like Shark Tank level investments. My last bucket is for family support and charitable giving and that's about it. The allocation budget sheet that I use is linked in my bio and it's free y'all, so use it and let me know what you think.
