my 9-5 as a software engineer at disney

my 9-5 as a software engineer at disney i got this job at Disney last December which means I'm closing in on the one year mark of working on Disney Plus I think time flies by extra fast when you're coding (me all weekend) and since I'm also building my startup outside of work hours I've just been extra busy these days I usually head to the office at around 10 or 11 most of my team is in LA and since my morning stand up is at 12:30 I do get a later start to my day I normally bike to work but now that it's winter I've been taking the subway and walking more it is kind of nice to have an office to go to because otherwise I would just stay home all day there's a theater in the building and I saw that they were screening Zootopia 2 I start programming and working on my tickets from like 11 to 12:30 then I have my team stand up then lunch I don't have many meetings so the afternoon is more of the same just programming working on tickets I start wrapping up work when the sun starts setting and something I've been doing for the past few months is walking home it's a long walk but it gives me my 10,000 steps and after a long day of sitting down and staring at my screen it's nice
