Like you people really saw my video and you came in droves, all right? Because this comment itself has like 5,000 likes. This is by far the most popular product, the Maybelline Gone Griege, and other comments also mentioned this specific lip liner separately. So clearly, it's a big favorite of people who are also cool-toned like me. I went to Ulta today. I got it. I literally have it right here. I did try it on twice, okay? It's too dark. It's basically too dark. Here, let me show it to you. So this is the swatch. These are three swatches. It's the lowest one, so it's the biggest swatch as well, because this product is very, very creamy and quite opaque in my opinion, which is normally a great thing, right? But when it comes to lip liner, I don't really have the biggest lips, obviously, and I am quite pale, and so if it's going to be a darker color, I'm going to have to blend it out and use it very, very sparingly. Like the first time I tried it on, I used way, way too much, okay? And I tend to be a little bit heavy-handed anyway, so honestly, I was struggling a bit. And then I tried it again, and I was like, very lightly lining my lips, and I tried to blend it out, and I don't know, it got a little bit patchy actually when I did that. I'm not sure, but anyway, so I think it's just a bit too much, frankly, for me in terms of like saturation, right? Also, I'm starting to suspect that I might not really want a very gray liner per se, like I initially thought. So that's like, that's my mistake. I guess I just had to like try it out, right? I think I want more of a mauve situation. So now I'm thinking about, you know, maybe I can go back and just see if there's any mauvy colors, but without it becoming like a red lip. You know, that's kind of the difficult thing, right? That's why I was kind of looking for a greyer situation where it would read more like a nude, kind of understated lip, if you will. So anyway, you might be wondering what I have on my lips. This is the middle swatch, which you can see looks kind of similar to the bottom, right? But the key difference is truly in the finish of the product and like the consistency of it. Like I said, the Maybelline is extremely creamy. It goes on like a dream, bit too much of a dream for me. This one, hold up, where is it? The NYX one, let me get it. Looks like this. It's like your traditional kind of pencil, which I think I actually prefer. It's like a wooden pencil, so you do have to sharpen it. It's not retractable like the Maybelline, but I don't know, I kind of like this better. This is a much harder consistency. So when I apply it, I'm able to use a much lighter pressure to just only deposit like a little bit of color, you know, and go like very, very, like honestly, I even overdid it with this one right here. You can see it's a little bit too much. But like here, I feel like it was good. Anyway, so yeah, but even with this one, I'm unsure about it. I don't know. I think I will keep the NYX one because it is a vibe. I do like it. It's a little bit of like a gothy vibe, honestly, which sometimes I can go for that, okay? What is it? Why I say gothy? I just mean like a little bit of a darker vibe, whatever. But I think it's still not quite what I'm looking for. So I think, like I said, I need to go lighter and maybe a little bit pinker, like a little bit more mauvy, like a, like an old rosé kind of color, right? Something like that. That might be my true nude, because this is still looking a little too much. But anyway, I will say, you know, I'm very thankful that you guys answered because it was very fun reading everybody's dialogue there. There's a lot of cool-toned girlies in the world. So that's always fun to read and commiserate with one another. But yeah, my quest continues, I think. But let me know if you think this looks nice. I don't know. I think, yeah, I did a little bit too much here, but otherwise, let me know what you think. It's kind of pretty. But anyway. And it's just like not what I had envisioned. You know what I mean? So I'll have to continue on.
