The cost of success? No one really talks about the cost of success, they just show you the results. I live my life by the mantra, you can have it all, you just can't have it all at once. And that part matters. It's crucial. These are my two key takeaways on the topic. Number one, I do not live my life in balance. I live my life in seasons. And I think often on social media and probably even like following my accounts, you see the, the highlights, you see the chapters that look amazing and sensational and glamorous, but what you often don't see are the the seasons and like the sacrifices that one makes to get there. And that's super important. I truly believe that you have to live in seasons and prioritise different things at different points in your life if you really want to build your dream life and be happy. A couple of examples. So there was a period four years ago where I was absolutely determined to move from investment banking to private equity. And when I say I put my life on hold for two and a half years because all I wanted was that job, I didn't date people, I didn't see my friends. I actually told my boyfriend of three and a half years that I couldn't go out with him because I was so focused on the job and I knew that he was going to distract me. You don't really see that online and I think it's super important when like people have these massive aspirations and goals, which we're here for it and that's what Wall Street Girls Club is about, to realise like you do have to sacrifice stuff along the way. The second point is that when you're really, really focused on achieving something, you can't expect everything else in your life to be like perfect as well. Whether it's your reputation, whether it's your career, whether it's like you want to meet someone and date someone, you can't do it all at once. The last two, three years, I was very much focused on like living my life, travelling, spending time with my friends, my family, the ones I love, my boyfriend and I had like a season of dating and like that was actively a choice. When I look in for this year, I'm entering a new season. I'm entering a season of career, work and business building. And when I tell you everything else is going to be put to the side, you have to say no more than you say yes to achieve anything. Sometimes it can be quite isolating, it can be testing, it can be lonely at the top. And I just think it's super important to spread this message and be authentic about it because I personally don't think it comes across all the time on social media.
