The dark side of vibe coding

I vibe coded an entire app, got it on the App Store, got my first paying subscriber, but now reality is starting to hit in. A few months ago, I found out about something called vibe coding where you can build apps without knowing how to code, and I had a good idea in mind, so I decided to go ahead and build it. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I got it approved on the App Store and got my first paying subscriber. Two days ago, however, I got my first one-star review, and it just made me realize how much work you have to put in to actually build something that people want to use. When I first started, I had no prior tech experience. I literally had to learn everything through ChatGPT. Building those 10k a month apps is very possible with vibe coding, but it just requires so much work that they don't tell you about. Prompting is not enough. You have to learn technical skills, and I'm just now realizing how much harder it actually is. All these vibe coding platforms make it look like it's literally just so simple. You just put a prompt in and you have an app, but there's so much more work that goes on. Follow me on this page. I'm going to be documenting my journey.
