95% of the websites you guys have been sending me look like they're vibe coded and you honestly lose a lot of credibility when it looks like it's been vibe coded. So here are three dead giveaways that your app was vibe coded along with how to solve it at the end of the video. But first follow and save this video for later so you don't end up making these mistakes. So for context, I've spent a couple hundred hours of vibe coding now and I've done the research on these tools so you don't have to. Okay, so for this video I'm only gonna be talking about the UI so what you see when you're looking at the app. So the first and probably biggest vibe coding giveaway is gradients everywhere, more specifically purple and blue gradients. If you ever see an app that looks like this and it just says glow everywhere that's a dead giveaway that is vibe coded. That goes for most colour schemes, it's just most common with purple and blue. No. 2 is they all have the same icons and fonts. So not that that's a bad thing, it's just that the default icons it gives you aren't very good which means it's not very good at targeting the icons at the audience. So for example, an AI gaming tool is gonna use way different icons than like a candle shop targeted at grandma's would use, but a lot of vibe coding tools won't recognise this. The third clear giveaway that your app is vibe coded is that it's dark mode by default. So again, not that that's a bad thing, it's just if you're making an app for candles and you have a dark futuristic theme, it's not gonna hit the right target audience. Okay, so the way you avoid your app looking like it's being vibe coded is a very strict PRD document specifically the UI section. So to simplify a PRD document is just a big document that you give to your vibe coding tool before you start basically outlining everything in your project, what it's gonna look like, what it's gonna do, what the user flow is gonna look like and then the UI is just how the user is going to interact with your app. So the best way to fix this using your PRD document is just to specifically outline your colour palette, your fonts, your visual elements and your component style. This will then stop the AI from just choosing random things that everyone else is gonna have in their websites. And that's how you make sure your vibe coded app doesn't obviously look like it's been vibe coded.
