A lot of people are asking me how I got an app from lovable to the actual App Store. So I'm just gonna make a video on breaking it down for you guys. You probably already know this, but Lovable pretty much only builds web apps and websites. So what you're gonna do to actually build a native iOS app is you're gonna make sure you make it clear to Lovable that you're building an app and not a web app or a website. When I first started building on Lovable, I had no idea what a web app even was. So I was on my app and I was getting like the browser features and going back and forth with it until I realized I just have to tell it to make it a native iOS app. I did eventually switch the cursor and I recommend you guys do the same if you're building apps. But to actually get the app from Lovable to the App Store, you're gonna be downloading the GitHub repository. From there, you're gonna be running some commands in your terminal to make it an actual native iOS app. Lovable will guide you through all of this, so you can just ask Lovable like, hey, I want to make this an actual app. And it will tell you. Then you're gonna be opening Xcode and you can do that directly through the terminal. And once you open an Xcode, you have to archive the app and then from the archive, you can distribute it directly to the App Store or to testing. This is a very general breakdown. There's still a lot of things you have to do, like you have to pay $100 for an Apple developer license. Lovable is so much better than it was about three or four months ago. Right now is literally the best time to build on Lovable, but I still would recommend you guys build with cursor.
