Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
my Chinese parents built a business from scratch. Then told me to NEVER follow in their footsteps. "managing people is exhausting". "a 9-5 is safer". So I scrapped my dreams of being an entrepreneur for a CS degree. Then I landed a 6 figure job as a cog in the corporate machine. But I could never silence the voice in my head asking: "When are you finally going to start a business?" I kept telling my friends I would, but I never had anything to show for it. Then one morning in May, I woke up with a realization that haunted me. If I didn't start now, I would never own a business. So in August, I quit my job to learn marketing full time. My relatives would call and ask: "So how's that TikTok of yours going?" I'd swallow the lump in my throat and try to respond. For 5 months, I tried to find a business I could actually run. Until one day it clicked. I needed to stop thinking and just do it. So 2 weeks ago, I started a marketing agency with my friend and we signed our first 2 clients. Honestly, I've been terrified to document this journey because I don't wanna fail publicly. But I want to show that you don't need permission or even the perfect plan to start. You just need the courage to begin and the belief that you can change lives. So follow me if you want to see me build a life-changing business from the ground up.
