Top 300 AI Influencers to follow on X

if you use X to follow the latest AI news I built something for us so this is a very simple website that you can use to find the top 300 AI influencers on X and how did I filter the top 300? my methodology is here with the selection criteria filtering criteria and the scoring mechanism I mean it's not perfect it's meant to balance between how much influence they have in the community as well as their follower count so if you have any ideas to improve this I'm also very open to feedback but going back to this chart there are a few ways you can use this on the left hand side here we have a panel where you can browse through the top 300 of the users and you can click on each one to see how they're connected you can follow them right away and you can keep browsing all the way to number 300 of course in the left hand side here you can also type in a name directly so for example Sam Altman you can search or if you're looking for anyone who's associated with Tesla you can also do that and click on people of interest you can also browse through using the 3D interactive chart in the middle here here you can see that there are different colors representing different categories of accounts you can also see how they are connected and who follows who you can click on anything that you find interesting for example I see that there's a huge cluster of companies here all connected to each other so I'm wondering what that is so I'll click on that and it's Nvidia Nvidia has a lot of accounts that are all very influential and have a lot of followers each you can also check out these accounts by category so if you're interested in startups and companies in the space you can click on company if you're interested in researchers and people in academia you can also click on that and see how they are interconnected with each other and find the accounts that you are interested in so yeah the reason why I built this platform is because I finally want to start using my 11 year old Twitter account (@Jenny_the_Bunny) yes it was called Twitter when I registered to follow the latest AI news on X but aside from some of the most famous researchers professors and companies I didn't really have an idea of who else to follow so this is my way of finding and discovering the accounts that I think are interesting and worth following for the latest AI news I've vibe coded this whole thing with Claude Code without writing a single line of code it is not perfect I would say some of the profile categorizations still need improvement but if you have any feedback I'm all ears hit me up on X or leave a comment
