Accounting Controller

Being a controller might be the role for you. Now, the controller is the head of the accounting department that tracks every dollar, every transaction, everything that goes inside and out of the company. They track it, record it, make sure it's legal. And although AI will automate a lot of the simple functions around their role, their role will transition more from, basic number crunching to strategy and how these numbers and records can actually translate to the business side. Now, out of school, you can seventy, a hundred thousand, that range. It really varies what you're at, but this role is. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon. You can be making well into the six figures if you have lots of experience. Now, speaking of skills, accounting mastery, like having a. Yeah. Having a CPA is a very, very probably the most vital tool you can have. Having great leadership, being tech savvy, also having internal controls, making sure that the employees are doing the right things and having different things. Everything is tracked, recorded, and that everything is being looked over and that nothing is getting outside of your view. This is a very, very interesting role overall. I think I role an eight out of ten. I personally like finance careers a lot more than accounting careers. I think this is a pretty future proof career. That's only moderately difficult. Working forty to fifty hours a week, which is really good. That'll obviously be higher during this season and tax season. But overall it's a great, great career. Only moderately difficult.
