Your degree is useless in 2026. Every single degree except for engineering. And it's not for the "oh but clawdbot is gonna replace me" shut up bro. Engineering isn't valuable because of the job. It's valuable because of what it teaches you beyond the classroom. My 3.9 GPA mechatronics engineering student, there are so many times where the workload feels insane. You question yourself, you question the degree, you wonder if any of this is even worth it. But here's what no one tells you. You don't just learn cool sh*t, you learn HOW to learn. The pace is brutal, the problems are complex, the pressure is constant, and that's why it's the best. Because that environment is impossible to replicate anywhere else. And when you finally push through and prove to yourself that you can win in this environment, you finally realize that you can literally learn anything. Any new industry, throw yourself into a room of people smarter than you and you're not afraid because you've been there before. That confidence doesn't just stay in school, it follows you for the rest of your life. No matter where you're thrown, you'll know that you can figure it out.
