Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
And as a bonus, a lot of them are absolutely ruthless with their competition, which has made this very entertaining to watch. So here is a list of some of the Utah brands that I think did some of the best marketing over the last year. First up is Lola Blankets. It's hard not to start with these guys. Billboards all over Utah, constant product drops. Seems like they're doing a collaboration with every single influencer out there. They become the epitome of top of mind. Speaking of blankets, we have to mention Minky because they have been fighting back as hard as they can against Lola. Watching this Lola versus Minky has brought a whole new meaning to rivalry here in Utah. I think I can speak for all of us that it has been very entertaining. The next one has to be Crumbl Cookies. Their creators eating entire boxes of cookies ASMR style and the founder casually building a multi-million dollar house for the whole world to watch online brought them back on the map. Another one I love right now is Brixley bags. More of an up and comer, but their founder Kimberly has built a massive personal brand. Her content is fun, chaotic, a little outrageous, and it's completely put Brixley in the spotlight. Next up is Cozy Earth. They have also participated in the billboard wars, but the thing that really stood out that they did last year was their Bed Rot Challenge. They had local celebrities laying in bed for hours live streaming, which sounds kind of ridiculous, but it grabbed so much attention for them. Next up is Ballerina Farm. There's been a lot of controversy around these founders over the last year. However, they have used a lot of their attention to start to build a massive protein brand here in the state of Utah and across the United States, which by the way, has been dominated by Just Ingredients and Clean Simple Eats. Both of these, of course, deserve to be on this list for best marketers here in Utah. They have owned this category for years. I just haven't seen anything big personal that they've done in Utah specifically. However, they are just everywhere here in Utah, and maybe that's the reason why. Another one is Swig. They rode the Secret Life of Mormon Wives wave really, really well and pushed their brand even further into pop culture. Honestly, I still think they can do a lot more at that moment, too. Beehive Meals also belongs on this list. They're deeply embedded in this community, and I don't think there's a war and an award here in Utah that they haven't won. Finally, the last one I'm gonna throw in here is a company called Final Boss Sour. Definitely a Utah brand. They don't do a whole ton of Utah-focused branding, but London Lazerson, a content creator here, has been grinding on this for like three years. They had a breakout year last year, had Keith Lee review them, they got into Walmart, a lot of good things happening for these guys. I love seeing it. And that's it for now. I'm feeling like we need to do some sort of Utah March Madness bracket war. What do you guys think?
