Guess who's back? Come shopping with me so I can show you what I use on ceramic stove tops. Let's go. So first things first, these are the things that we will need. Weiman cook top cream, Dawn and water. I have two microfiber towels just in case, some paper towels, the cook top scrubbing pads. These are specifically for cook top ranges and stove tops. Of course you know my blade. This is a fresh blade. If you're going to use it on a stove top, you need to make sure you have a fresh clean blade and paper towels. Now, I already had this cook top kit, so that's why you didn't see me buying one. This cook top kit, if you haven't used this product before, it comes with the little scrub brush which can be removed. That's why they have the replacement pads. If you're using this at home, it comes with a little smaller bottle and then it also comes with the little razor. But I already have one. So, just in case you've never used the product, you can go ahead and get the kit. So let's go. So this is the stove top that we will be working with and as you can see there's a lot of damage already to this stove top before we even do anything. Now, there are some areas that may possibly come up but it may not. So I'm just going to use the product on the surface and show you guys what I do. So let's go. So the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to shake up the product. So now you want to add it directly to the stove top but it does say that you want to make sure to check in a small area to make sure it's safe to use. I've already used this before so I know it's okay. All right, so I'm going to apply this to the surface, make sure the surface is cool and I'm just going to apply some. Then since I already have the one that has the pad on it, I'm going to use it and I'm going to start just going in a circular motion. Then I'm going to take some paper towel because that's what it says on the back of the bottle and then I'm just going to wipe the area clean. Now I'm going to take my microfiber towel and I'm just going to make sure I just dry this surface off. So now I can see what's left behind. As you can see, there are some little areas that can possibly come clean but I'm not sure until I try out the blade. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to wet the surface with a little bit of the Dawn and water that I have. And it says to make sure that that blade is at a 45 degree angle, okay? Now I'm just going to wipe it off with a wet paper towel. Take my microfiber and dry the surface off. This is the before and this is the after. I personally do not use the scraper on the stove top inside of my client's homes because I am aware that you can do everything that the box says, you can do it at a 45 degree angle and you still could possibly scratch the stove top. In my own home, yes, I'll do it if I need to use it. But if you're going to use it inside of a client's home, let them know that there's always a possibility of scratching that scratching can happen. So that way they'll they'll they can let you know if they want you to proceed or if they want to do that part themselves. There's only been one time that I have ever used the blade inside of a client's home is because she let me know that they were getting ready to get rid of the stove because they thought they had ruined it. So I let her know that I can come in with the blade and and fix the the issue. She was okay with it, it came out beautifully and she thanked me. But I always let them know.
