If you've got this Unger 6-foot telescopic pole and you're not grabbing these attachments from Dollar Tree, you're doing it the hard way. This is part 3 of the one pole, multiple jobs series. Now let's go shopping. The first thing you want to grab is this hinged brush head. Next, you're going to need a squeegee. Now I'm very particular about my squeegees and I can honestly say this one works really well. Then you're going to need a broom head. Make sure you grab this version, not the other one, because the other one won't fit the pole. And lastly, grab a multi-purpose mop head and make sure you get extra mop pads that go with it. Heads up, these items aren't at every Dollar Tree. You might have to hit a few locations, so anytime you're in a new area, check the other stores out. Now let me show you how I actually use one of these attachments, starting with the hinged brush head. This right here is a game changer. Now because these bristles on this brush head are really stiff, I'm careful about the surfaces that I use it on. For instance, I'm okay with using it on tile like tile showers or porcelain tubs, although you still need to test a small area to make sure it's not scratching. But I do not use this brush on acrylic, fiberglass, plastic, or stone surfaces because stiff brushes can scratch delicate surfaces and we don't want that. As you can see, this is hinged, so I love the way it goes. It moves back and forth when it's connected to the pole. And also, you can see how I don't have to bend down to clean this shower. Now you can also take this off the pole and use it as a handheld if you need to put a little bit more pressure on certain areas.
