Hook

Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
This is the strongest interview move that I've ever seen, and it's backed by actual research. It's been found that candidates that ask this one question boost their offer percentage by over 50%. It works for sales roles, corporate gigs, literally anything, and it's stupid simple. So let's get into it. So here's the setup: the interview is winding down, you've answered all of their questions, and then they hit you with this: 'Do you have any questions for us?' Most people treat that as polite small talk, and that's a mistake. This is your last real shot to stand out. I want you to say this word for word: 'Amy, I'm sure you've seen a lot of people come into this role. In your professional opinion, what are the qualities that you feel like separates the top performers from everyone else?' And then pause. Do not say another word. Let them tell you what they actually value, not just what's in the job post. Now, time for the real sauce. Next, I want you to follow up with this. It literally does not matter what they say, whatever qualities they say, you're going to say this: 'Amy, that was super helpful. Thank you so much. I hope I've been able to show a few of those qualities today. Uh, but just in case, are there any concerns that you have whenever it comes to me being the perfect fit for this role?' Now, you've got them baited on your hook. They're going to say either one of two things. They're either going to say, 'No, Austin, you're solid,' and you're going to leave the interview knowing that you're a top candidate. Or they're actually going to share their concerns with you, and you're going to get a rare chance to handle the objection live. Because if you don't, it's going to turn into a maybe or just like a quiet no, and you have no reason why. You're not just answering questions, you're creating clarity, and that's what gets you offers. These people have to know everything about you, and you also in turn have to cover your bases. You have to answer every single red flag, otherwise they're going to fill in the blanks themselves. Follow me. I'll keep teaching you the stuff that nobody else teaches, but everybody wishes they knew.
