It's college decision season, so here is the realities of going to MIT. First of all, it is the number one school in the world for a reason. The classes are really hard. I knew the classes were hard going in, but they are actually significantly harder than I thought it would be. You're surrounded by all the Olympiad kids, so all the physics, math Olympiads, they're all here. My friend's roommate is one of the physics Olympiad medalists that got to meet Trump. And going off of that, everyone you meet is genuinely so cracked. Even the most degen people ever. If you talk to them about why they're here, you'll realize that they are here for a reason. And honestly, life kinda revolves around Psets, which is basically our homework. Usually they come out every week. Basically, once you're done with the psets of the week, the next psets of the week come out. And they're not easy to do. They take like so many hours to actually do. And honestly, no matter how much you study, you will never be prepared enough. For some reason, the tests just become exponentially harder, and it's just like, what the heck. And honestly, people just don't sleep, and a lot of people pull all nighters. And I was like, okay but like, that's not necessary. It is necessary because genuinely there's not enough time in the day to do everything that you need to do. But you know what pressure creates diamonds, right?
